Recently, Surpass Sun Electric (SSE) signed a contract with an Australian company, supplying three sets of 150A active power filter devices. This is another typical case of exporting high-tech harmonic filters to developed countries.

The ZAPF series active power filter will be exported to Australia this time, applied on the motor system for food refrigerated storage, eliminating the harmonics for 3 units of 530A refrigerant compressor motors controlled by variable speed drive. The end user requires that the total harmonic distortion of voltage shall be controlled within 5 percent. Also, the APF will be placed outside, equipped with rain-proof, cooling system and other auxiliaries, and enduring temperature as high as 40℃. Meanwhile, the customer also requires easy operation, direct human machine interface and communication functions, which ZAPF can meet completely. It results from SSE’s technology research and development in active power filter in recent ten years.

The exporting of APF to Australia has special significance at this stage as SSE is one of few leading manufacturers in China who can export high-tech APF complied with international standards.
