Developed and generally contracted by SSE, the project is the first “solar + charging” hybrid system in South Central China. The system consists of union-building stereo garage of two 7-storey buildings and can park more than 140 passenger cars, which alleviates the local difficulty in parking. At the same time, it make full use of the garage roof to install 20kW solar panels, and in addition to meeting the power supply of the whole system, the excess power feeds back into the grid with tariff paid, achieving additional profit. Wall-mounted AC chargers are also equipped in the garage to meet the charging demand of the EVs.
